C Software Engineer (various levels)

Requirements

  • Proficient in C.
  • Knowledgeable in Unix kernels and operating systems (Solaris, BSD, Linux).
  • Knowledgeable in Unix socket, TCP, UDP, and Serial.
  • Knowledgeable in Unix threads, single and multiple.
  • Familiar with active/active and fail-over methodologies.
  • Familiar with distributed system design and control planes.
  • Familiar with at least one of the following: Lua, Haskell, Agda, Go.
  • Familiar with in-memory databases and data structures.
  • Experience with git and svn.

Responsibilities – CORE/OS Team

  • Participate in development and maintenance of the TalkOS Core Operating Router Engine.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of the TalkOS router API and TalkOS control plane.
  • Participate in feature selection and planning of individual’s deliverables.
  • Performance tuning, scaling, and applying lessons learned to next iteration.

Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements

  • Proficient in C and Python.
  • Knowledgeable in at least one of the following: Lua, Haskell, Agda, Go.
  • Knowledgeable in Unix kernels and operating systems (Solaris, BSD, Linux).
  • Knowledgeable in Unix socket, TCP, UDP, and Serial.
  • Familiar with automated build, QA, and testing processes.
  • Familiar with technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, and HDFS.
  • Experience with configuration management solutions such as Salt, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Experienced in SQL, in-memory databases, and data structures.
  • Proven record of self-learning new technologies and programming languages.

Responsibilities – Solutions and Integration

  • Participate in development and maintenance of internal QA and testing infrastructure.

Requirements

Technical Project Manager/Sale Engineer

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in Unix operating systems (Solaris, BSD, Linux).
  • Knowledgeable in networking protocols and transports.
  • Familiar with ‘best practices’ in the data center environment.
  • Familiar with active/active and fail-over methodologies.
  • Familiar with distributed system design and control planes.
  • Familiar with technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, and HDFS.
  • Experience in SQL, in-memory databases, and data structures.
  • Great communicator with both written and verbal presentations.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise network infrastructures.
  • Extensive experience delivering proofs of concept.
  • Proven technical sales skills; enjoy learning about new technologies autonomously and as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the sales team to support sales initiatives and drive direct channel sales.
  • Work with existing customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive strategic account operations.
  • Monitor and maintain customer accounts, in addition to identifying specific-customer needs and transferring information to Product and Engineering.

Engineering Technical Manager

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in C.

  • Knowledgeable in virtualization and networking.
  • Knowledgeable in networking protocols and transports.
  • Familiar with ‘best practices’ in the data center environment.
  • Familiar with active/active and fail-over methodologies.
  • Familiar with distributed system design and control planes.
  • Familiar with automated build, QA, and testing processes.
  • Familiar with technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, and HDFS.
  • Experienced in SQL, in-memory databases, and data structures.
  • Great communicator with both written and verbal presentations.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, monitor, and report on developer and department progress.
  • Mentor, review, and monitor developers performance.
  • Review product requirements with developers and evaluate solutions and levels of effort.
  • Occasional customer interaction may be required.
